Psychological Assessment and Therapy for Adults, ADHD/AuDHD, Giftedness, and Brain Health
How Can I Help?
I’m Jacqueline Hogan, PhD, a psychologist specializing in adult ADHD and AuDHD assessment, psychotherapy for adults and older adults, giftedness, and brain-health-informed care. My approach is warm, rigorous, and individualized—especially for clients with complex presentations.
As a scientist-practitioner, I help adults who want more than generic mental health care. Whether you are seeking therapy, diagnostic clarification, or support for a complex presentation, I offer thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to the whole person.
We might be a good fit if you are:
high-performing, gifted, or successful but struggling privately
an adult wondering whether ADHD, autism, or AuDHD has been missed
seeking an assessment that is both evidence-based and nuanced
looking for therapy that considers the whole person, not just symptoms
navigating aging, cognitive concerns, or brain health questions
are looking for therapy that is warm, honest, and intellectually rigorous —and if you are ready to engage seriously in the process of change.
Services Offered
-
My approach to therapy is integrative, interactive, warm, and personally tailored to your specific situation. In partnership with you, I will create a plan that helps you overcome challenges and achieve your goals without unnecessary suffering.
-
I provide psychotherapy and psychological support for older adults, including concerns related to mood, aging, adjustment, caregiving, health changes, and cognitive worry. My background in geropsychology and brain health allows me to bring both clinical depth and practical guidance to this work.
-
I understand ADHD and AuDHD (ADHD + Autism) as a clinician and a human. I specialize in complex, high-masking, and high-performing presentations that are often overlooked. My evaluations use a multi-method, evidence-based approach and are designed to clarify whether ADHD, autism, or both best explain your experience. I also offer therapy and coaching for neurodivergent adults who want practical support without being reduced to a deficit model.
-
My research centers on lifestyle interventions to prevent dementia. Risk factors account for 40% of dementia cases and 40% of risk factors are modifiable. Brain health should be part of routine care. I offer a “Lifestyle Choices for Brain Health” group that reviews current best practices and interventions that work for your lifestyle.
